Melanie & Steve

Melanie and Steve, both big Game of Thrones fans, reached out wanting to do a beach ride before their elopement at Dunluce Castle. We couldn’t think of a better way to start than with a relaxed beach ride on our beloved horses, Daisy and Kendra. Before heading out, they spent some time at our family farm, meeting the animals and getting to know us, which helped make the whole experience feel personal and easygoing.

Their adventure session, beautifully captured by Cinematic Tide, took them along the stunning Northern Ireland coastline from Benone to Downhill Beach and an iconic Game of Thrones filming location. Since neither of them had ridden before, it was all about enjoying a leisurely pace, taking in the breathtaking scenery, and feeling the magic of riding a horse in Ireland. It was more than just a photo session; it was a chance to make real memories in the same landscapes that brought the show to life.

After that unforgettable day, Melanie and Steve couldn’t imagine their wedding without Daisy and Kendra. When they asked if the horses could join them at the Dark Hedges for the ceremony—a place straight out of Game of Thrones—of course, we had to make it happen. On the big day, the horses added a touch of magic, and the connection the couple had formed during their time at the farm and their coastal ride was clear. The photos perfectly captured the adventure, the stunning locations, and the love shared between Melanie and Steve.
