Day 1 – Meet Us & Your Wedding Horse
The day before your wedding, we’ll welcome you to the farm with tea and homemade scones. It’s a relaxed chance to sit down together, hear about your plans, and talk through how your horse will be part of your ceremony.
You’ll then head out to the yard to meet your wedding horse. Spending this time together makes all the difference – you’ll feel comfortable, confident, and connected before the big day.
We’ll also chat through your ceremony entrance options:
Do you picture your partner walking with the horse as you arrive?
Or do you dream of making your entrance on horseback, riding up the aisle?
We’ll also show you the different saddles available – whether a traditional English or a side saddle – so you can choose what best suits your dress and style.
Day 2 – Your Wedding Day at Dunluce Castle
On your wedding day, we’ll meet you at the ruins of Dunluce Castle with your horse beautifully prepared and ready. Because you’ve already shared time together at the farm, everything feels natural and familiar.
We’ll be right there to help you mount up or to walk alongside you, whichever way you’ve chosen to make your entrance. It’s always a breathtaking moment – you, your partner waiting at the top of the aisle, and the castle as your backdrop.
After your vows, your horse can stay on for photographs – whether that’s at Dunluce itself, or at other stunning nearby locations such as White Rocks Beach, Mussenden Temple, Downhill Beach, or the Dark Hedges. And of course, don’t forget to bring a few carrots – the perfect thank-you for a job well done.
