Couples Beach Ride

A beautiful way to see the North Coast from a completely different view.
This private beach ride is a lovely way to explore one of Ireland’s most beautiful coastlines together — whether it’s part of your trip, your wedding plans, or simply something memorable to do while you’re here.
It’s suitable for all levels, so don’t worry if you can ride and your other half has never been on a horse before. As it’s a private experience, we can tailor it to suit you both and make sure everyone feels comfortable.
You’ll meet your horses at Crindle before heading to the beach, where you can enjoy the sand, sea air and beautiful coastal views in a way that feels really special.
If you’re eloping in Ireland, this is also a gorgeous experience to enjoy the day before or after your wedding — a chance to slow down, take it all in and spend a bit of time together away from the rush of the day itself.

A Day or Two Before Your Wedding
Welcome Visit to Crindle Bespoke
Before your wedding day, you’ll visit us at Crindle Bespoke and meet the Patterson family at our traditional farmhouse.
We’ll welcome you with tea and freshly baked scones while we get to know each other, chat through your wedding plans and talk about how the horses will be involved on the day.
You’ll also hear a little about the history of our home, our family farm and our gentle horses.
Meet Your Wedding Horse or Horses
You’ll then meet the horse or horses who will be joining you on your elopement day.
You can spend some quiet time getting to know them and feed them a few carrots, so they feel a little more familiar before the big day.
We’ll also chat through how the horses will be part of your ceremony — whether one of you is leading the other up the aisle, both of you are riding up the aisle, or one of you is riding while the other waits at the altar.
You’ll have the chance to sit up, get a feel for riding English style, and practise leading your horse or horses, so everything feels more relaxed and natural on the day.
On Your Wedding Day:
Arrive at the breathtaking Dunluce Castle, where history, romance and wild North Coast beauty create the most magical setting for your special day.
Having met your wedding horse or horses a day or two before, there’s already that lovely little connection there. So when you arrive at Dunluce, it doesn’t feel like meeting them for the first time — it feels familiar, relaxed and really special.
With the waves crashing against the cliffs below, you can make your entrance on horseback, with your wedding horse or horses accompanying you into this next chapter together.
After exchanging your vows amongst the castle ruins, you’ll have time to soak it all in and enjoy the moment. Your horse or horses can be part of your photos afterwards, with the ancient stones, rolling green cliffs and Atlantic Ocean creating a beautiful backdrop for your first memories as a married couple.
We can also remove the tack for some of your photographs, giving you a softer, more natural look with the horses after the ceremony.
It’s your day, so if you have a special request, idea or personal touch you’d love to include, we’ll chat it through and do our best to make it feel just right for you.Temple, Downhill Beach, or the Dark Hedges. And of course, don’t forget to bring a few carrots – the perfect thank-you for a job well done.
